Z6III ima djelomično složeni senzor koji pokreće isti EXPEED 7 procesor koji se nalazi u Z8 i Z9. Ova moćna kombinacija omogućuje brze AF izračune, visoke stope osvježavanja EVF-a i impresivnu osjetljivost na svjetlo. Snimatelji fotografija mogu uživati ??u glatkom pogledu kroz tražilo i snimati do 120 fps bez brige o izobličenju okidača. Snimatelji videa mogu snimiti besprijekorne 6K i 5,4K snimke izravno iz kamere ili oversampled 4K UHD video iz 6K u kameri.
